Reversee 100 mg/ml Injection
Brand: REVERSEE 100MG
Generic Name: Sugammadex Injection
Form & Strength: Injection, 100 mg/ml (2 ml vial – 200 mg total)
Manufacturer / Company: Neon Laboratories Ltd
Product Description
Reversee 100 mg/ml Injection is an intravenous anaesthetic adjunct used to rapidly reverse neuromuscular blockade induced by certain muscle‑relaxing agents during surgery. It contains Sugammadex, a selective relaxant binding agent that binds and inactivates steroidal neuromuscular blockers such as rocuronium and vecuronium, enabling quicker recovery of muscle function and spontaneous breathing following general anaesthesia.
Therapeutic Use
· Reversal of rocuronium‑ or vecuronium‑induced neuromuscular blockade at the end of surgical procedures.
· Allows faster recovery of skeletal muscle function and respiratory effort after anaesthesia.
· Used exclusively in hospital settings (operating rooms / surgical suites) under the supervision of trained anaesthesiology professionals.
Mechanism of Action
Sugammadex works by forming a complex with neuromuscular blocking agents in the plasma, effectively neutralising their action and reducing their availability to bind to nicotinic receptors at the neuromuscular junction. This action leads to rapid restoration of normal muscle function compared to traditional reversal agents.
